Hello and thanks for visiting my site! I am working on an updated site. This picture of myself is about 5 years old but it is me!
I am new to the West Des Moines Area and have a nice relaxing office I am sure you would enjoy. My office is located in Urbandale Iowa off of Hickman Road. I can also do private zoom sessions if you prefer to be in your own home or cannot get to office.
I graduated from University of Northern Iowa with a Masters in Mental Health Counseling in 2005.
I am 48 years old. I live with my 17 year old daughter, husband and 3 cats. I have been a therapist for the past 20 years and in private practice the past 11. I have extensive experience and my new website will soon share what some of my past and present clients have said about working with me.
Some of my favorite hobbies are reading non fiction, learning and studying, walking, nature and cooking to name a few.
I have extensive experience with many treatment modalities, but a lot of life experiences as well which make me very qualified to assist you on your personal healing Journey.

I have a new office location in Urbandale Iowa. It is cosy, warm and healing and ready for new patients now!

In person sessions are in my Urbandale office. Zoom sessions available too.
Private pay is accepted and due at time of service. cost is 120.00 per session. First session is up to 90 min. Ongoing sessions are 6o minutes. I prefer taking insurances.
I currently see patients Mondays 9am to 12pm. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays 7:30 am to 5:45pm. Last appointment slot is 4:45pm. Fridays closed. Sessions are 1 hour long.
