Hello and thanks for visiting my site!
I am new to the Des Moines area. I am married and live in Clive. My office is located in Urbandale.
I graduated from University of Northern Iowa with a Masters in Mental Health Counseling in 2005.
I am 47 years old. I live with my 17 year old daughter, husband and 3 cats. I have been a therapist for the past 20 years and in private practice the past 11.
Some of my favorite hobbies are reading Non fiction, decorating, learning and studying, walking, nature, paper crafting, traveling, light gardening, cooking, taking naps and drinking tea. I also love You Tube and recommend watching ASMR for relaxation and or listening to law of attraction podcasts, frequencies and nature sounds.
I have extensive experience with many treatment modalities, but a lot of life experiences as well which make me very qualified to assist you on your personal healing Journey.

I have a new office location in Urbandale Iowa. It is cosy, warm and healing and ready for new patients now!
Please NOTE: I also take Zoom for people too far away, most everywhere in Iowa if your insurance allows.
In person sessions are in my Urbandale office.
I currently accept (most major insurances) All Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Health Care, HealthPartners and all 3 Medicaids, Iowa Total Care, Molina and Wellpoint. I will soon also be credentialing with Medicare.
Private pay is accepted and due at time of service. cost is 120.00 per session. First session is up to 90 min. Ongoing sessions are 6o minutes.
I currently see patients Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays 7:30 am to 5:30pm. Last appointment slot is 4:30pm. Fridays 9am to 3pm. Sessions are 1 hour long.
Off Monday and most Holidays.
